Conductor Charles Hazlewood shares his perspective on the necessity of trust between the conductor and his orchestra, the musician and his instrument, the human being and his voice.  Leadership, he says, is like holding a baby bird... we hold it too tightly, we kill it; we hold it too loosely, it flies away.
