Leadership finds its way inside of Richmond classrooms

Posted by Kelly Lewis Share Your Voice

Bounce is thrilled to bring the important work of emotional intelligence and leadership development into Richmond's classrooms.  Tomorrow marks the launch of Teachers as Learners - a leadership development program empowering 20 educators from Moody Middle School and 300 of their students.

The program works with teachers to strengthen their capacity to lead from within and better model their individual identity and integrity. It also provides teachers the opportunity to practice leading from within while enabling students to develop their own inner resources as learners and leaders.

Teachers as Leaders is not only a unique combination of leadership training, coaching, and service learning, it is a unique collaboration across many amazing organizations.  We are grateful to have Courage to TeachLuckstoneTrePadges, and our own talented coaches and instructors working together to deliver something extraordinary!

Small Kelly Lewis Hello! Here are a few things that I have found support me in creating the life I want, keeping myself in check, and leading with courage and compassion: a slow walk with my hubby and our pups, my work, honesty with myself, the smile of another, and mother nature.
