While fear is paralyzing, anger is energizing.  The human art of leadership requires one to channel anger's energy into commitment, sacrifice, and purpose. MLK once said, "The supreme task of a leader is to organize and unite people so that their anger becomes a transforming force."

There is a downside to anger that King knew well.  He spent his life taming the emotion that could have broken him-- and destroyed his dream for the world.  Instead, he used it to drive change...and empower impact.
