Empowerment could be felt throughout Walkerton Tavern on Friday as our fearless leaders from Moody Middle School - eleven teachers and their administration gathered for another day of Teachers as Learners.

The program works with teachers to strengthen their capacity to lead from within and better model their individual identity and integrity. It also provides teachers the opportunity to practice leading from within while enabling students to develop their own inner resources as learners and leaders.

The group explored the concepts of dormancy and choice.  And our Courage to Teach and Bounce facilitators helped teachers imagine their school and life without the "Drama Triangle" and offered a new way of thinking and taking action - The Power of TED* .

Small Kelly Lewis Hello! Here are a few things that I have found support me in creating the life I want, keeping myself in check, and leading with courage and compassion: a slow walk with my hubby and our pups, my work, honesty with myself, the smile of another, and mother nature.
