The Power of YOUth!

On Monday, students from Henrico High School joined forces with our Leaders as Learners participants at Moody.  Their mission - to offer our 6th graders their perspectives on the value Bounce in middle school (why learning how to manage emotions, behavior and relationships; how we communicate and solve problems; how we ultimately affect change in the world is important).

Their "cool factor" earned us great credibility:)  These juniors and seniors brought their best selves to this experience, embracing their roles as leaders and learners as they helped us continue to build community in Moody's classrooms.  And we continue to learn that the power of YOUth cannot be underestimated!

Small Kelly Lewis Hello! Here are a few things that I have found support me in creating the life I want, keeping myself in check, and leading with courage and compassion: a slow walk with my hubby and our pups, my work, honesty with myself, the smile of another, and mother nature.
