On Tuesday, October 5th, "Leaders as Learners", a Bounce leadership development program that simultaneously serves the leaders of today and the leaders of tomorrow, kicked off!

Twelve leaders from Pfizer, Higher Achievement, Capital One, Richmond City Schools, Kaleidoscope Collaborative, Martin Agency, Alicia Farrell LLC, Virginia Credit Union, and Richmond Education Foundation gathered for their first two days of a nine month long exploration of what truly sets leaders apart - emotional intelligence and ones ability to manage with their heads and lead from their hearts.

After experiencing the first two days of the program, one leader shared, "The past two days were truly fantastic!  You created a fantastic space and environment for creating a very powerful community...probably one of the more powerful experiences I've ever been through!"

Beginning in November, this group of leaders (and learners) will have their own opportunity to create a powerful learning community and lead by influence when they begin working with 330 6th graders at Moody Middle School to ignite their sparks by connecting who these students are to how they will make a difference in the world.

Small Kelly Lewis Hello! Here are a few things that I have found support me in creating the life I want, keeping myself in check, and leading with courage and compassion: a slow walk with my hubby and our pups, my work, honesty with myself, the smile of another, and mother nature.
