Julian Baggini asserts that it is easy and very enticing to define ourselves by our horoscopes, our Myers Briggs profiles, and our learning styles-- and to stop there and declare, "this is the real me."   With evidence based in neuroscience, he challenges us to view ourselves instead as a collection of many moving  parts (experiences, desires, beliefs, knowledge) and a process in constant motion.  How liberating to know that we can channel the direction of our development-- the shaping of our true self.

Indeed there is magic to be discovered within-- and we can also create it.
